Premiere: First test ride with the new Fliteboard Series 3

1) The new Flite Jet

The Flite Jet offers the smoothest and safest ride you can have with a Fliteboard. A novelty of the new Fliteboard Series 3 now allows the switch between the propeller and jet. Want to ride with friends or share your fliteboard with your family? No problem, use the jet for maximum safety. If you want the ultimate surfing experience with maximum efficiency, switch from jet to propeller within 30 seconds. The system is only screwed onto the motor.

The Jet is the world's smallest eFoil jet and is perfect for schools, yachts and families. The ride with the jet is particularly safe, stable and smooth. However, a propeller is more efficient than a jet.

The propeller is more efficient than an impeller and protected by the Propguard. For us it is the perfect choice for beginners and advanced riders. The battery runtime with the propeller is about 10% longer compared to the propeller. Due to the higher thrust, you can also use much smaller and sportier wings with the propeller than with the jet.

For maximum efficiency, maximum speed and best surffeeling, use the propeller without the propguard. You can easily replace the propguard with a pro tail cover. The pro tail cover is included with the purchase of a fliteboard with propeller. The setting is perfect if you are familiar with the use of the Fliteboard. At the beginning we recommend the propeller with propguard and at a later time the change from the propguard to a pro tail cover.

The new Cruiser jet range

The Cruiser Jet Wings are available as Cruiser Jet 1500 & 1800 and come with a Stabilser 300 Wing. They are characterized by their maximum stability and efficiency and provide a particularly low risk of injury when falling due to their rounded wingtips.

3) The new battery range

With the new Fliteboard Series 3 there are 3 different batteries:

Flitecell Explore: weight 14 kg, runtime 90 min
Flitecell Sport: weight 11 kg, runtime 60 min
Flitecell Nano: weight 6,2 kg, runtime 45 min

The new Flitecell Nano is the smallest and lightest lithium-ion battery in the world for eFoils. Never has eFoiling come so close to foiling without a motor. We rode the Flitecell Nano and were thrilled with the agility while surfing. You notice clearly in fast changes of direction and turns that the board has a minimal swing weight and is therefore much more agile.

4) The new 80cm mast

Fliteboard's longest mast is perfect for surfing big waves, jumps, riding in very choppy water and to achieve greater lean angles in turns while surfing. However, a longer mast has an effect on agility while surfing and makes fast turn changes difficult. The shorter the mast, the more direct the surfing feeling. For us, the 75cm mast is therefore still the optimal choise for most eFoil riders.

5) The new Ultra L

Less is more! The Ultra is the smallest and lightest eFoil in the world. With the Nano battery it weighs just 22.5kg. To achieve the low weight, loops were eliminated and the battery compartment is made of carbon. The Fliteboard Ultra L comes with a board and eFoil in gold finish. Perfect for waves, racing and hard carving.
